The high-end headphones feature Artificial Intelligence (AI) noise canceling, which automatically selects the optimal noise cancellation mode based on outside environment, such as a plane, bus/train or office. For adjusting volume, settings, and the “monitor” function - which mutes the headphone to hear announcements - the headphones come equipped with a convenient controller.
Further, the MDR-NC300D headphones feature “vertical-in-the-ear” style earbuds with 7 different sizes, ensuring a comfortable wearing experience for a wide variety of users. The advanced earbud model also has an exceptionally long rated battery life of 20 hours per AA battery.
Sony’s MDR-NC300D Digital Noise Cancelling Earbuds will be available for about $300 starting in February 2010.
