Maxell Launches SL-1, SL-DJ and SL-HB Studio Headphones

Maxell today announced the launch of its new line of studio series headphones at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show.

The Studio Line of headphones was created specifically with the music aficionado in mind. Offering three distinct specialty headphones, from wireless to heavy bass focused products, the Studio line provides the perfect alternative to the one size fits all approach.

“We wanted to address all of the specific needs of the listener and realized that we needed to compromise too much in one product. So we created three distinct and high-performing headphones under our Studio Series Lineup to address three distinct issues, tethering, external sound and bass level quality.” said Cheryl Severini, Maxell’s Director of Marketing and Product Development.

Maxell Bluetooth Headphone With Mic: SL-1

Maxell Bluetooth 2.1 Wireless SL-1 Headphone with MIC features apt-X technology that works to ensure that audio content transmitted over Bluetooth is instant and clear. With premium leather earpads and a sleek and stylish headband design, the SL-1 offers up to 6 hours of use time with a range of up to 30 feet.

The Maxell SL-1 Headphone is compatible with Apple SIRI enabled devices, and features easy to reach earcup button controls for music on/off and taking calles. The SL-1 is packaged with a USB charging cable and optional audio cable.

Maxell DJ Headphones: SL-DJ

Maxell’s DJ Style Headphone SL-DJ contains powerful 50mm drivers for deep bass and superior sound quality. The extra large, premium leather ear cups are designed for comfort over long hours of use. The 360° earpads can also swivel behind the ears, so outside sound can be heard while still enjoying sound from the source.

Available in the Spring of 2013 the SL-DJ will come with two cables: a standard 4ft cable and extra long 11 ft cable. MSRP is $139.99.

Maxell Heavy Bass SL-HB

Maxell’s Heavy Bass SL-HB includes large 40 mm drivers, offering rich, deep bass sound. The drivers provide exceptional low frequency sound while also capturing rich bass reproduction. Powerful neodymium magnets and a lightweight diaphragm give the SL-HB premium sound reproduction. The SL-HB features large, padded ear cups, rubber finish headband, a single entry tangle free flatwire cord, and a MIC with remote for phone calls.

The Heavy Bass SL-HB is available in the Spring of 2013 and will have an MSRP of $129.99
